PTSC trolls taxi drivers with Twitter jab amid taxi fare furore

PTSC has gotten in on the conversation over the increase in taxi fares.

This as Transport Minister Rohan Sinanan took the opportunity yesterday to encourage the general public to make use of the PTSC bus service.

He admitted that the service has room for improvement but said the Government is doing what it can to provide customers with an affordable alternative.

Speaking on Boom Champions 94.1 FM, Minister Sinanan explained that there are plans to upgrade the service and increase its efficiency.

Minister Sinanan revealed that the PTSC also plans to introduce electric buses and a bus tracking system for passengers.

PTSC took advantage of the situation yesterday with a witty social media post of its own encouraging persons to utilize its service.

Highlighting that the bus from POS to Chaguanas costs only $4, it pointed out that customers could buy 3 tickets and still have money left over for a snack.
