PSA Maintains It Will Guard Closely The Livelihood Of Workers It Represents

President of the Public Services Association, Leroy Baptiste, says  the Union has been at loggerheads with the Government over what it describes as its continued disregard for the worker’s representation.

Speaking with News Power Now Monday morning, Baptiste disclosed the whole issue of WASA being restructured has been in the public domain for some time.

He said it has been the subject of much mitigation between the Union and the authorities.

The trade union leader insisted all the Union wants is to ensure the workers are well represented since the decision impacts their lives and livelihood.

Mr Baptiste criticised what he labeled the dismissive attitude that has prevailed by the authorities.
