There is a proposal for a special panel to be formed relating to the granting of legal firearms.
It comes from the Confederation of Regional Business Chambers.
The group is made up of twelve chambers.
It believes the present system should be reviewed.
Coordinator of the Chambers, Jaishima Leladharsingh, made the recommendation while speaking on the Hard Talk Programme on Wednesday.
