“6 seats look good right now” says Tobago attorney as he slams PNM’s January THA election decision

Current head of the Tobago Business Chamber, Attorney at law Martin George, says the PNM mis-stepped regarding their handling of the initial 6-6 THA election tie earlier this year.

Mr George noted that there was an opportunity for the PNM to make that tie work and rebuild their relationship with Tobagonians through a power sharing arrangement.

He claimed that the loss of seats in successive elections should have led to a change by the PNM.

However, the party’s failure to play the long game, in Mr George’s opinion, has cost them dearly.
