Two men were shot in Arima on Thursday night.
Reports state that at around 6:00pm, victims Kendell Smith, a prison officer from Chaguanas and Caydel Aguilera of Samaroo Village, Arima were liming at the Private House Establishment at Samaroo Village, when a white Nissan Ad Wagon pulled up in front of them.

Two occupants both armed with firearms alighted from the vehicle, and one, clad in a black mask and dark coloured T-shirt opened fire on the men. Both gunmen then returned to the white AD wagon and sped off.

Both victims were rushed to the Arima General Hospital by residents.
However, Smith succumbed to his injuries.
Police are continuing with investigations.
