Princes Town man robbed of over $50k by fake cops

A 52-year-old Princes Town man was robbed of over $50,000 in cash early Wednesday morning.

Around 1:30 am, the man, a PH driver, was awoken by banging on the front door at his Niamath Trace, Iere village home.

He then heard male voices shouting, “police!”

When he opened the door, the man was confronted by four bandits dressed in dark-coloured clothing.
They robbed him of $50,000, a $1,500 cellphone and ten gold rings.

Investigations are underway.
