The role of natural gas in the global energy landscape formed part the discussions between Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley and President of Iran, Dr. Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi in Doha, Qatar today.
In a media release, the Office of the Prime Minister said both leaders are in Doha for the Sixth Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum.
The release said Dr Rowley will, On Tuesday, deliver a national statement at the GECF summit.
The statement pointed out Prime Minister Rowley is also expected to meet with Amir of the State of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani on Tuesday.
