On Wednesday a National Stakeholder Consultation on Legislation to Govern HIV and AIDS in the Workplace will be held.
This consultation would assist the Ministry of Labour in the development of legislative provisions aim to combat discrimination against persons living with HIV and AIDS in all areas of employment.
This is in accordance with the National HIV and AIDS Policy of Trinidad and Tobago 2020-2030 and the National Workplace Policy on HIV and AIDS, which was developed by the Ministry of Labour in August, 2017.
The Ministry of Labour will host the event.
It takes place at the Grand Ballroom, Hilton Trinidad and Conference Centre, Port of Spain from 9:00 a.m. – 2:30pm.
