President Paula Mae Weekes has issued notifications in respect of Retired Justice of Appeal, Judith Jones and Maxine Attong as nominees for appointment to the Police Service Commission.
In a media release Tuesday, the Office of the President said this was done after Her Excellency consulted with Prime Minister, Dr Keith Rowley and Leader of the Opposition, Kamla Persad Bissessar, by letters dated and delivered on October 7th 2021.
The release said the notifications have been delivered to the Clerk of the House of Representatives.
