Police want help identifying body found in Morvant

Police are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the body of a man that was found in a water course in Morvant on Saturday morning.

According to reports, a police officer assigned to the Transport and Telecom Branch was approached by a homeless man at around 9.50 am who told him that a body was found lying in a water course off PG Trace, Morvant.

Officers of the North Eastern Division were called in and found the body of the man lying on his back in a shallow pool of water about 50 feet off the Western side of the Lady Young Road, Morvant.

The man was wearing a brown shirt with a pair of black long pants with a slab of concrete over the head and face.
