Police Service Commission Urged To Give Its Side Of The Story On The Gary Griffith Issue.

Former Police Service Commission Member, Martin George, is urging the PSC to come forward and present to the public its side of the story surrounding matters concerning the entire handling of the Gary Griffith issue.

Discussions in the public have focused on whether Mr Griffith should have been serving as Acting Commissioner of Police after his contract had ended.

There have also been deliberations on the role of the National Security Minister in determining whether Mr Griffith should return to the post following his vacation.

Speaking on the Power Breakfast Show on Power 102 Digital, Mr George suggested the PSC put forward its position on the development which will help restore public confidence in the institution.

Mr George said the longer it takes for the PSC to provide its version of what has transpired in the process can lead to speculation adding its vital the independence of the institution be protected.
