Police destroy marijuana trees worth $65K

Marijuana trees worth approximately $65,000 were destroyed by officers of the South Western Division during the ongoing Operation Sea Breeze.

The operation which took place between 9 pm on Sunday 7th February, 2021, and 1 am on Monday 8th February, 2021, was coordinated by Snr. Supt. Brandon John, Supt. Singh, and ASP (Ag.) Simon.

During the exercise, officers proceeded to a bushy area at James Trace, Beach Road, Sobo Village, Palo Seco, where they found a total of 65 marijuana trees. The trees were uprooted and destroyed.

Investigations are ongoing.
