Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley officially opened Carifesta X1V last evening at the Grand stand Queens Park Savannah by extolling the wonders of Trinidad and Tobago and all we have to offer in terms of Culture and experiences. He welcomed over 20 participating countries to what he hoped would be an enjoyable and enriching experience over the next ten days.
This year our overarching theme for the opening ceremony is “The Spirit of Wild Oceans”- a celebration of the rich and diverse cultural, artistic, and musical heritage of this beautiful archipelago.
Carifesta ends with a Caribbean Super concert featuring The best of the Cariby including Machel Montano, Shaggy , Cslypso Rose, Kassav , Alyson Hinds and a Stella cast of the best of Caribbean talent.
