PM expected to chair CARICOM meeting today

Although there has been no official statement from the Office of the Prime Minister, reports are that Dr Keith Rowley, who was discharged from a private medical facility on Sunday following an angioplasty procedure, is expected to chair his fist Caricom meeting this morning since assuming the position of chairman.

The Caricom meeting is being held virtually.

Trinidad and Tobago’s delegation to the virtual Caricom meeting is expected to include Foreign Affairs and Caricom Minister Dr Amery Browne.

The migrant issue between Venezuela and TT is expected to be a topic for discussion.
