A 69-year-old man, identified as Selwyn ‘Papi’ Boxie, was shot dead in his living room on Friday night.
Around 8 p.m., a friend of Boxie’s son was sitting in the porch of their Palmyra Road, San Fernando home, when a man dressed in a hoodie asked for ‘Papi’.
The man then boldly walked into the living room where Boxie sat on a couch and shot him.
The killer fled in a waiting Nissan AD wagon.
Boxie was shot several times.
He was rushed to the San Fernando General Hospital where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
