The Oilfields Workers Trade Union is expressing concern surrounding the pension plan for former employees of Petrotrin.
OWTU President General, Ancel Roget, speaking at a news briefing on Monday said legal guidance and court directive on this subject have indicated workers must be treated fairly.
The senior OWTU official said workers would have satisfied their side of the bargain and the union acted responsible to ensure pension benefits remain in tack.
