Opposition Remains Sceptical Of Finance Minister’s Claims On Full Employment

The Opposition is calling on the Minister of Finance, Colm Imbert, to provide proof to the nation Trinidad and Tobago currently has full employment according to Central Statistical Office data.

Member of Parliament for Mayaro, Rushton Paray, says the National Insurance Board reports over 60,000 persons have been deregistered by employers, and skilled workers such as doctors, nurses, and energy professionals are fleeing our nation to greener pastures.

MP Paray is calling on Minister Imbert to provide what he describes as concrete evidence to support his claims and to work towards addressing the real issues facing our nation.
