Princes Town Man Held And Pistol Reported Stolen Recovered

One man was arrested and a pistol and a quantity of ammunition which were reported stolen during a robbery incident were recovered by officers of the Southern Division, during an anti-crime exercise, conducted in the Princes Town district Tuesday afternoon.

The exercise, spearheaded by Woman Senior Superintendent, Lucia Winchester and supervised by ASP Jaikaran and Sergeant Teeluck, was conducted between 4 pm and 5 pm on Tuesday.

Based on intelligence, officers proceeded to Buen Intento, Princes Town, where they recovered one M&P pistol fitted with a magazine containing seven rounds of ammunition which were allegedly taken during a robbery incident earlier that day.

A 40-year-old Princes Town man was arrested in connection with the find.
