North Carolina bus driver charged for paying kids $5 to swag their mouth for COVID-19

35-year-old Raina McManus, a bus driver, has recently been arrested after paying children $5 to swab their cheeks for COVID-19 tests.

Parents claim she was swabbing their children’s cheeks throughout their bus route.

The arrest report says McManus swabbed  middle school students without their parent’s or the school’s permission.

The 35-year-old bus driver was initially suspended following the allegations and then fired shortly after.

Reports added that they were unaware of what she was utilizing the COVID-19 tests for; however, the woman worked for the National Institute of Molecular Diagnostics. The lab demolished all tests. The lab is currently under investigation by the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services.
