No Deadline Yet On When SSA Audit Will End

No deadline can be given as yet to when the review and audit of all personnel, equipment, and processes within the Strategic Services Agency will be completed.

The parliament was told on Friday given the nature of the exercise it will be inappropriate to give  a deadline.

However, evidence acquired will be followed and treated accordingly.

The process is being carried out by retired Brigadier General Anthony Phillip Spencer.

Prime Minister, Dr Keith Rowley, disclosed the information during the question and answer period in the House of Representatives on Friday.

In March this year it was revealed a pastor and self-professed spy  who was at the centre of a probe into the affairs of the Strategic Services Agency (SSA), is no longer a police officer.

Speaking at a  TTPS weekly media briefing,  the Police Commissioner said the individual was no longer a member of the Strategic Services Agency and, therefore, no longer a police officer.
