The funeral of Calypso Queen Denyse Plummer will take place at Queen’s Hall, Port-of-Spain.
Minister of Tourism, Culture and the Arts Randall Mitchell on Tuesday confirmed that a representative had reached out for the use of Queen’s Hall and that has, of course, been approved.
However, he noted that Government has not reached out to the family about funeral arrangements.
The date and time of the event is yet to be confirmed and it is also not yet known whether the proceedings will be made public or kept private.
Plummer, 69, lost her battle with cancer on Sunday after ailing for several months.
