There won’t be any changes to the COVID-19 regulations currently in place.
At a media conference held at the Diplomatic Centre in St Ann’s on Wednesday afternoon, Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley said the regulations will continue to be in force until early January.
The existing regulations have been extended to January 10.
On the return of students to school, Rowley said if there’s a continued downward trend in the number of infections, students may begin to return to physical classes in phases.
He said this would be a “huge positive step forward”.
