“No bail for kidnappers” chants from frustrated protesters

Trinidad and Tobago has once again been thrown into mourning for another murdered woman – just two months shy from reports of Ashanti Riley’s death, 23 year old Andrea Bharatt sparked emotions and ways in which the country can protect women.

Several protesters took out their frustration this afternoon by marching around the Queen’s Park Savannah to show solidarity for the dozen of families and women who lost their lives to different acts of crime.
