President of the National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago, Mark Loquan, says the presence of COVID-19 has underscored the importance of being competitive and innovative to survive these challenging times.
Mr Loquan says the approach moving forward will be vital to navigate the period.
He made the remark during his opening contribution at the Spotlight on the Budget Forum at the Hyatt Regency, Port of Spain today.
Mr Loquan said exploring new areas is another aspect that must be pursued which can help generate much needed income and create jobs.
