The North Central Regional Health Authority (NCRHA) has commissioned a new step-down facility to treat Covid-19 patients.
They recently refurbished a 25-year-old abandoned building at the back of the Tacarigua Health Centre, which will be used as contingency in the war against Covid-19.
The facility was renovated and upgraded by an in-house team from the NCRHA Engineering Department.
The Authority’s Chief Executive Officer Davlin Thomas said the new achievement is a signpost of the dedication and commitment to excellence, of the staff of the NCRHA.
“We will press forward; we will continue to improve; this is who we are,” he said.
