Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley needs to disclose all the details of his health according to Naparima MP Rodney Charles
In a media release MP Charles said, ” Transparency considerations, taxpayer liability for medical bills, global best practices, a fully informed citizenry, and the reality that their decisions impact generations yet unborn; demand that citizens have full disclosure on the health of our PMs.”
MP Charles added that if he intends to vie for re-election, we must know whether Dr. Rowley at 77 will be able to handle the stresses of the job. He said: ” Life expectancy in TT, according to the WHO, is 73 for males and 80 for females,” he said.
The Naparima MP added: “King Charles at 75, was recently diagnosed with cancer, it was discovered during his treatment for an enlarged prostate. We know the medical status of King Charles but little about our own PM’s health.”
