The ongoing gang warfare in Carenage may have cost one man his life.

Akeil Mitchell of Upper Haig street was walking along the road around 6am on Sunday morning, when an assailant walked up to him and shot him multiple times. Mitchell was rushed to the St. James Infirmary but died while receiving treatment.
Police are continuing investigations.
