Caribbean Airlines(CAL) has had to cancel flights from several regional countries to Barbados as Tropical Storm Dorian is set to hit the country.
Dorian was upgraded from a tropical depression to a tropical storm on Saturday. St Lucia and other Eastern Caribbean countries may experience the effects of the storm on Tuesday.
As a result CAL has cancelled the following fights:
BW 448 Port-of-Spain to Barbados
BW 449 Barbados to Port-of-Spain
BW 455 Kingston to Barbados
BW 454 Barbados to Kingston
BW 459 Port-of-Spain to Barbados
Affected passengers can call CAL’s reservation offices to rebook the next available flight. For the inconvenience, CAL is offering a waiver of all fees for tickets for travel up to September 9, 2019 as long as it is rebooked for the same cabin.
The waivers are only available for travel to or from the following Airports: Piarco International Airport, Trinidad, Grantley Adams International Airport, Barbados, Norman Manley International Airport, Kingston, Jamaica.
