If you’ve been following the various kiddies carnival competitions, you would realise that one song has been dominant and that has been ‘Come Home’ from Nailah Blackman and Skinny Fabulous.
From the first event at St Anthony’s College Children’s Carnival competition, to Red Cross and the NCC Junior Parade, ‘Come Home’ has “taken in front.”
Now while some see this as an indicator of what will play for the adults today and Tuesday, it’s still not certain, as ‘Hard Fete’ by Bunji Garlin is a frontrunner in the fetes.
“Hard Fete” however, was a distant second for the kiddies, followed closely by Machel Montano and Patrice Roberts “Like Yuh Self’ and Machel and Destra’s “Shake The Place.”
The race is on as of today, so let’s see who can take the song of the road.
