Police said the 74-year-old driver of the pickup was headed in an easterly direction along the Churchill Roosevelt Highway, Wallerfield, when he tried to make a right turn on to Old Agua Santa Road and collided with Walcott.

Walcott was taken to the Arima Hospital where he died around 6:17 pm while undergoing treatment.
