A Morvant man was gunned down near a funeral home in Laventille this afternoon.
Emmanuel Parks had just arrived at a mechanic shop on the Eastern Main Road, Success Village, Laventille, when he was confronted by gunmen who shot him several times.
He died at the scene.
The incident took place near the Simpson’s Memorial on the Eastern Main Road as a funeral was in progress.
Several rounds of rifle ammunition were found at the scene.
