A 23-year-old man was shot and killed in Morvant on Sunday night.
The incident took place at Romain Lands and the victim has been identified as Akanni Charles.
According to police reports, at about 8.05 pm, Charles was said to be liming at a parlour along Romain Lands Road when a cream-coloured Hyundai Elantra pulled up next to him and two men exited with firearms.
The suspects then opened fire on Charles, hitting him several times to the chest and head.
He stumbled a short distance away before collapsing.
The suspects then re-entered the vehicle and drove off.
