The Ministry of Health has recorded 31 more covid19 related deaths, the highest daily recording since the start of the pandemic.
The death toll now stands at 2, 040.
In its latest clinical update, the Ministry also reported 624 new positive cases of Covid19.
The Ministry has noted, however, that the number of cases reported reflects the samples taken during the period November 21st to 24th and not the last 24 hours.
There are currently 9 606 active positive cases of the virus in T&T, 572 of which have been hospitalised.
