Missing Pirogue recovered in Sea Lots by the TTPS

A pirogue which was reported missing was recovered yesterday by police officers during an anti-crime exercise held in Sea Lots.
On Tuesday 6th April 2021 around 8.30pm, the victim secured his vessel at the Carenage Fishing Depot.
Upon his return the following day, he noticed his vessel was missing. A report was subsequently made to the Carenage Police station.
Based on information received, officers of the Carenage Police station, CID, Western Division Task Force (WDTF) and members of the Trinidad and Tobago Coast Guard (TTCG) proceeded to Sea Lots.
They recovered the stolen vessel, which was then conveyed to Staubles Bay, Chaguaramas, for processing.
The exercise was conducted during the hours of 11.30pm and 4.15am yesterday, under the supervision of Snr Supt Kelvern Thompson and coordinated by Insp Grant.
Enquires are continuing.
