The Ministry of Health has reported 17 more deaths due to covid19 and 537 new positive cases.
The Ministry has noted, however, that the number of cases reported reflects the samples taken during the period November 14th to17th and not the last 24 hours.
In its latest clinical update, the Ministry stated that there are currently 7,950 active positive cases of the virus in T&T, 480 of which have been hospitalised.
The death toll now stands at 1, 908.
A total of 64 402 positive cases of covid19 have been recorded in this country since March 2020.
