Michael Wei: Information From Boodram Would Have Aided Paria’s Risk Assessment

A quick medical check was carried out on Christopher Boodram, the lone survivor of the diving tragedy at Paria Fuel earlier this year, before he was questioned on conditions inside of the pipeline.

Michael Wei informed the Commission that Mr Boodram was pulled from the pipeline at 6 o clock.

Mr Wei said Mr Boodram had bodily injuries, was covered in oil and the primary responsibility was ensuring he was properly taken care of before being transferred to the hospital.

Restrictions of covid-19 at the hospital, hampered the gathering of further information from Mr Boodram.
