Three persons who passed away recently to Covid-19 refused to be admitted to hospital.
Principal Medical Officer of Institutions, Dr. Maryam Abdool-Richards, made the revelation while speaking at Wednesday’s Covid-19 news briefing.
Dr Abdool Richards said the patients were in need of intensive care but they did not accept to be hospitalized.
Dr Abdool Richards said in a short space of time the individuals who were assessed by medical personnel passed away and they were not fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
Dr Abdool Richards also provided details on patients who require intensive care and are yet to be vaccinated against the virus.
