Ashanti Riley was laid to rest in an emotional send off today.
During the service at the Mt D’or Seventh Day Adventist Church, Pastor Steve Riley appealed to citizens not to turn to vigilante justice when acts of evil are committed in society.
He says forgiveness and healing is the way to go.
Pastor Riley made the comments while officiating at the funeral service for his cousin 18 year old Ashanti Riley.
The police say she was murdered sometime between November 29th and December 4th, 2020.
Pastor Riley urged everyone to come on board to ensure the protection of women.
Commenting on another matter, Pastor Riley said the character of an individual is more important than whether or not the driver of a vehicle is H or PH.
Ashanti’s sisters who gave the eulogy reflected on her life.
