Karlsen Fabian Batson, the 42-year old man who was shot during an incident at the Tunapuna market on December 27, has died.
He succumbed to his injuries yesterday (January 9) at the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex.
Batson was walking near the Tunapuna market around 8:50am on December 27th, when a Hyundai Tucson SUV pulled up next to him and three occupants, armed with guns exited the vehicle and began shooting.
He attempted to run but was caught and shot at several times.
The suspects then escaped in the waiting vehicle.
Tunapuna CID is continuing with investigations.
