Man dies after being crushed by vehicle

A tow truck employe succumbed to his injuries a few days after he was crushed by a vehicle.

Ryan Rattan, 34, an employee of Roadside Assistance Services was offloading a car from a wrecker last Thursday when it rolled and trapped Rattan under the vehicle.

He was taken to the San Fernando General Hospital and treated for his injuries. He underwent two surgeries and was scheduled for another one when he died on Monday, just four days after the incident.

Rattan was a father of four.
