Minister of Education Dr Nyan Gadsby Dolly told News Power Now this morning that the contributions that are asked for by the various schools at registration are indeed needed.
Parents/guardians have been complaining about the financial burden of the ‘fees’ being charged by schools at registration.
The Minister emphasized that while some financial help is needed via ‘fees’ being asked for, no student could be prevented from attending school if they are unable to pay any fees.
