JTUM Voices Opposition To Amalgamated Workers Union’s Position On Wage Offer

The Joint Trade Union Movement is voicing its opposition to the decision by the Amalgamated Workers Union to accept the four percent offer by the Chief Personnel Offer on Wednesday.

Speaking at a news briefing today, JTUM President, Ancil Roget, said the union is seeking a better offer from the CPO as the present one should not be accepted.

Mr Roget said he respects the move by Michael Prentice and his membership.

However, Mr Roget said JTUM is not surprised by Mr Prentice acceptance of the offer.
