Jonathan Majors dropped from several projects amid assault charges

Jonathan Majors is losing out on several lucrative projects as he faces charges for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend in New York City last month.

Majors has reportedly been dropped from the feature adaptation of the Walter Mosley novel, “The Man in My Basement,” as well as an ad campaign for the Texas Rangers MLB team, Deadline reports. The “Ant-Man” star is also out of consideration for the Otis Redding biopic.

The latest news comes after we reported earlier that Majors’ has parted ways with his management company Entertainment 360, and publicist, The Lede Company.

This embarrassing fall from grace comes after Majors had a violent altercation with his girlfriend in March. The blow-up occurred after she caught him texting another woman, according to multiple reports. The girlfriend, who has not been identified (a white woman), reportedly suffered minor injuries to her head and neck during the alleged attack. After Majors was arrested (and later released), she recanted her allegations.
