International law enforcement looking into missing packages from private shed at the port

Two private transit sheds at the Port have not been up to standard in terms of their compliance with security systems.

This has resulted in some packages being stolen from the warehouse and unable to be located.

Imbert said the missing packages are of interest to international law enforcement.

It was also revealed some of the courier companies have been failing to provide advanced information.

Imbert claimed the solution to the development will be the establishment of the Trinidad and Tobago Revenue Authority.

He added that the support of the Opposition is needed in this regard.
