India leads by 78 runs.
Replying to the West Indies 150 all out on Wednesday, India closed the opening day on 80 without loss.
They continued their dominance at the crease with Jaiswal reaching a century off 215 balls.
His inning included 11 fours.
Captain Rohit Sharma is also providing support and scored his tenth century from 220 balls which included ten fours and two sixes.
