A homeowner has been slammed online for “wasting police time” after calling law enforcement on their neighbour’s dog who goes to the toilet outside.
The person started a thread on social media explaining that the couple next-door often let their dog go to the bathroom on the patio.
The neighbour said that they spoke to the young couple who owns the dog a number of times however they always defended themseles explaining that they clean up after their dog at least twice a day and walk it every night.
However that was not enou gh for the neighbour who called the police on the couple.
Authorities came and inspected and said that no laws are broken as long as the area is getting cleaned up daily.”
When the person spoke to police, they were told that the “couple has their reasons” and it’s not the neighbour’s business to know.
