The controversial guard booth which was erected in Bamboo #2 has been demolished by the Tunapuna/Piarco Regional Corporation.
The corporation workers accompanied by police went to the area at around 5 o’ clock this morning to take down the contentious structure.
Following the demolition, activist Inshan Ishmael said the residents will now have to decide what the next move would be.
Ishmael told media that he has already asked his attorney to draft a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to show the chain of events in relation to this matter.
