Government’s revenue has increased based on TT $1 billion dollars received from BP and TT $1.9 billion dollars from Shell.
Finance Minister Colm Imbert said based on the Prime Minister Dr. Keith Rowley’s visits to Houston, London and Amsterdam, and effort of the team, this country is in a much better place with levels of petroleum.
Natural gas production has increased to 3.63 standard cubic billion feet per day and it is expected to increase to 3.8 billion standard cubic billion feet per day. Based on the increased production levels, the output should meet the standard demand which is 3.9-4 million standard cubic feet.
Oil production is 59,200 barrels per day as Heritage Petroleum has been expanding. Oil production from the east coast from the Ruby Field should increase production by at least 15,000 barrels per day.
