Investigations are continuing into a fire which claimed the life of a 13 month old baby girl on Wednesday.
The Trinidad and Tobago Fire Service has extended its condolences to the family and loved ones of the victim.
A release noted that at approximately 11:15am a report of a fire was received via the 990 emergency number.
Appliances from the Chaguanas Fire Station responded.
Upon arrival the release stated firefighting operations commenced and the fire was restricted to a bedroom on the first floor.
Ultimately three persons were injured and the body of thirteen-month-old Harley Persad was discovered.
It assured the circumstances surrounding the cause o he fire are being investigated.
