Police are currently on the scene of a murder in Mon Repos, Morvant.
Reports indicate that Micah Hamilton was standing on Kerr Trace in Morvant around 11:45am when gunmen shot at him several times. Residents heard a volley of gun shots ring out and upon checking, found his body at the scene. Ten shells were found on the scene following the incident.
Police alleges that Hamilton’s murder may be a revenge killing for the shooting of two men from Morvant earlier this month. The men were shot but not killed.
